Washburn Rural High School is seeking people to fill part-time lunch positions starting at $10/hour

After-School Labs

In order to help students complete assessments, projects, and assignments, the English and Math departments will each staff a room for after-school assistance.

English Lab Times

  • Days: Mondays and Thursdays
  • Time: 3:00 - 4:15 PM
  • Room: Computer Lab C - Media Center/Library

Math Lab Times

  • Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
  • Time: 3:10 - 4:10 PM
  • Room: Computer Lab D - Media Center/Library

Students are welcome to freely attend labs of their choosing for additional assistance outside their regular class times. Additionally, teachers may contact parents and suggest students attend one or more labs.

Please contact your student's English or math teacher if you have questions about these programs.

Barnes & Noble Book Fair

To raise money for next year's visiting author expenses, the district librarians are hosting a Barnes & Noble Book Fair on Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you would like to support these activities, shop at Barnes & Noble the day of the fair, and tell your cashier that your purchases are going toward the Auburn-Washburn Book fair. you may also shop online December 6 - 11 using the code 11451812. A percentage of sales will go toward the author fund.

Online shopping is a great way to help your schools from home. Grandparents, friends, neighbors, relatives — any one may participate! Thank you for your support.
